The Mind of Jesus seeks to convey a clear understanding of the personality of Jesus. Barclay strives to help the figure of Jesus become more alive to the reader so through understanding the reader will come to love Jesus more. The main body of material of this book is based on the first three Gospels of the New Testament. Barclay hopes that by showing what Jesus means to him, the reader will gain clearer insight into the work and meaning of Jesus.
